Brian Chatfield

For the past few years, Brian Chatfield has been a partner at Assembly Associates, Non Executive member of wearedna, and Executive Chairman of Warnfield Developments Limited.

After serving in the British Army on an extended short-service commission, Brian joined the London headquarters of Dolby Laboratories in 1972 before moving into front line industrial relations with Delta Metal. He later spent over 20 years in various management roles at Rio Tinto, the global mining corporation. He is a chartered Fellow of the Institute of People Development with an MBA and extensive global experience in cultural change and business transformation. He has undertaken numerous senior search and recruitment and complex change management assignments throughout Europe over the past six years. During the late 1990s, he worked in Armenia and Hungary on business development and civil society projects funded by the European Union, the UK Department for International Development and the Soros Foundation. He holds a number of other positions including the board of Britain’s highly respected National Star College. He is particularly experienced in supporting companies as an advisor, investor or in a non executive boardroom role.

In addition to these roles, Brian was also the Non Executive Chairman of Haig Barrett, Inc. for 10 years before moving into his current role of Think Tank member.
